A must for newcomers tourists, on the west coast of the peninsula of Istria, certainly the city of Porec, as an indispensable Rovinj, a town located just underneath the Lim canal .

Located in the vicinity of Pula are world famous pearls of tourism – Rovinj, which is hailed as one of the most beautiful towns in the Mediterranean, and Poreč, the home of the Euphrasian Basilica that was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Pristine nature, endless rows of vineyards and well preserved old villages, such as Motovun and Svetvičenat, dotting the hills are the main features of mainland Istria. Many old stone houses have been converted for agrotourism purposes. Here you can try traditional Istrian cuisine (“istarska supa”, various truffle dishes, homemade olive oil and local wine, such as Malvasia or Terrano).
