Camp Pineta Contact Data


Camp Pineta is situated on the south-west coast of the Istrian peninsula, only 7 km far from the antic city of Pula and 2 km from Fažana, fishing village with the wonderful view of Brijuni Islands. Right next to the camp there is a long pebble beach and a walking trail that leads to Fažana.

Arriving by car
If you are coming to Istria from the north, the simplest way to reach camp Pineta is to use the border crossing Plovanija and to continue to the south using E751 highway to the 8-Vodnjan sjever exit. Seven kilometers long ride on Fažana road (Fažanska cesta) gets you from Vodnjan to Fažana. If you are coming from the east, from the direction of the city of Rijeka, the best option is to use E61 highway to the Pula/Pazin/Opatija exit. The E751 road leads through Učka tunnel to the 1-Kanfanar junction from where you continue in the direction of Pula to the 8-Vodnjan sjever exit.

Arriving by plane
International airport Pula is located 14 km far from camp Pineta. During summer season Airport Pula is very well linked with numerous significant European destinations. It is also notable that there are two more international airports in the 150 km range, Rijeka Airport and Trieste Airport in Italy.

Arriving by ship/ferry
Port of Pula connects Fažana with various Croatian and Italian ports.

Arriving by train

Pula is also reachable by train. Pula railway station is connected regularly with domestic and international centers like Zagreb, Rijeka, Ljubljana, Maribor.
